2015 Let's Be Friends

Another year, another list of things I'd like to achieve in 2015...

I like to start my resolutions on the 2nd as the 1st is usually a day of recovery and pure laziness after all the fun of the evening before.  January wouldn't be January without a list of resolutions. Let's just hope I can stick them out for the 365 days and not just the usual fortnight!
Has anyone ever in the history of resolution making kept their New Years resolutions? 2015 is going to be different. (I'm sure I said that about 2013 and 2012 and 2011 and all the years before that but, hey, a bit of positivity never hurt anyone.

This year I've made a few resolutions that I thought I'd share.  I've separated them into life resolutions and blogging resolutions.

Become a photography master
Ok maybe not a master but I 've always loved photography and have recently started to get in to it more and more.  I'd like to possibly attend a night class to learn a bit more about it.

Lose every millimetre of fat I have
Ok, again I'm not being realistic. Weight loss and healthy living are on most people's resolution list and I'm no exception. I've gained a fair few pounds over the last 3 years or so and I'd like to try and shift that by adopting a healthier lifestyle in both my diet and my exercise.
Less lists, more action
Who doesn't love a good list? I have lists for everything (I'm making one now for goodness sake!) shopping lists, things to do lists, work lists, recipe lists... My problem is I spend so much time writing my lists I never actually do any of the things on them. This needs to change.

Pay off my credit card
In the not so distant past I had a fair few money issues and racked up a little credit card debt. It's not tens of thousands of pounds but I would like to try my best to clear it.

Be more positive
I can be quite down on myself and overly critical so I'd like to try and change that this year.  I moan a lot about certain aspects of my life that if I put in more effort I can change.

Quality vs quantity
I want to ensure that I'm proud of every post I write. Towards the end of last year I was posting stuff just to get hits and the quality was naff. I want my blog to be something in proud of and that will only happen if I'm proud of each and every post.

Push myself
Improve my content, grow my audience, take opportunities as they come up.

I've briefly entered the YouTube world and I'd like to continue that in 2015. I love doing my weekly vlogs and so enjoy sitting down editing them. I know they'll be something I'll look back on in years to come and be so pleased I made them.
Enjoy the ride
I dunno about you but I can get quite bogged down with what an end product should be.  With a blog there isn't an end product, its a continuously evolving and (hopefully) improving process. I need to learn to relax more and go with my gut feelings about which direction this little space should take.

What goals have you got for the upcoming year?  How long do you tend to stick to your resolutions for?
