New Year, New Blog

Happy new year. I hope that whatever you got up to on New Years Eve you had a wonderful time and created some fabulous memories...

A new year is the perfect opportunity for a new start and that's what I'm intending for this little space.  

Gemzicle Sprinkles was my first foray in to the wonderful world of blogging at the beginning of last year and over the past few months I've really struggled with my thoughts and feelings about where I wanted to blog to go.  So much so that I really started to resent the blog.  That upset me as I started Gemzicle Sprinkles as a way to relax, have fun and ultimately enjoy the process.  I began putting out content that I wasn't happy with just to ensure I was getting hits.  I hate that I did that as it made me feel really crappy about my happy little space on the internet.

 

I want Gemzicle Sprinkles to be something I'm proud of and this year I'm gonna work my ass off to ensure that happens.

 

I'm not sure yet what direction Gemzicle Sprinkles will take but I'm looking forward to enjoying the ride.
