I really want to get more into YouTube this year as I love the creative process of filming and editing. My editing is by no means the best but I'm hoping the more I do, the better I get. Check out my 3 Easy Braids video.
I'd love to hear you comments on what you think. Although, please try and be kind!! :)
Januarys Glossybox has landed and this month there are an impressive five full sized products inside this beauty box. The box is mainly a make-up box this month which is a nice little treat for January and there are several new brands that I've not heard of before including Nicka K New York, Kueshi (watch the video to hear me try & pronounce that one!) and Jelly Pong Pong. This month everyone gets the same inside their Glossybox.
Last week I decided to spoil myself and buy a new vlogging camera. I know, I know it's a bit close to Christmas to be buying myself something like that but I couldn't carry around that big old Canon 700D DSLR Camera
that I have been doing. The camera I decided to go for was the Sony a5000. So far I've really been loving it although I'm having a bit of trouble with the bits on the side that you're supposed to add a strap to as they rattle when I'm holding the camera. I might have to tape them down or something as I don't think they are removable.

This month I'm trying something different for my Glossybox post - I've only gone and videoed it haven't I?
If you don't know, Glossybox is a subscription beauty box that I really do love receiving through my letterbox each month. There are 5 full size and sample size beauty products to try each month and it costs between £8.50 and £10 depending upon which subscription you sign up for. Last weeks happenings are finally edited and all wrapped up in this little vlog. I finally started my Christmas shopping last week - in fact I nearly finished it too!! Yeay, go me!

I have so been loving all the vlogmas videos on YouTube at the moment. I'm so nosey and just love seeing what everyone's getting up to. Do you like vlogmas videos? Who are your favourite to watch? I'd love to add some new vloggers to my watch list.
I've finally uploaded last weeks fun. It was of course the one where Christmas finally hit - we went to the switch on of our towns Christmas lights and Sunday was Christmas tree decoration day.
I'm always curious when everyone else decorates their tree. I like to do mine on the 1st December if possible but as that fell on Monday this year I did it on Sunday 30th November. Some people complain at me it's too early but I like them up as long as possible. When do you put your tree up?

It was a week of not much vlogging last week. I've been so busy with work recently which has left little time to myself. We did manage to half dress up for a Pirates and Princess kids birthday party on Saturday and it was also the week I attempted some long awaiting and much needed redecorating.
This week I kinda epically failed at vlogging. It's just so hard trying to remember to whip out my camera when good things happen. I think it just takes time to get in to the habit of doing it.
It was a week of back to work after a few days off which is always a bit of a bummer. At the beginning of the week Mini Greenoid and I had two evenings where we went baking mad, making scones, a chocolate cake and what Greenoid describes as Green Spaghetti Pancakes (yeah my thoughts exactly!)
There seems to have been fireworks going off every night this week which has been great as I live opposite a field so I can look out at them all. We went to a firework display down the road on Wednesday night which was cold but fun. Talking of the weather, there's been a definite drop in temperature round these parts in the latter half of the week so I'm going to use that as an excuse to buy some new winter woollies I think...
I hope you enjoy this weeks vlog and if you have a vlogging channel I'd love to check it out so please leave it in the comments.
I've made it through my first week of vlogging! *Pats self on the back* I've loved this week so much and I'm so glad I decided to start vlogging. It's a wonderful way to record life and all the little things that get forgotten along the way.

I had a few technical difficulties this week and I couldn't use some of my footage which I'm really bummed about. I'm not the most technical of people and I get really annoyed if I can't get something working after a few attempts.
I guess I'll see you next Sunday (Well I'll see you before on here but ya know what I mean) I'd love to know what you think of my first attempt at any real editing. It's not quite as easy as I thought!
Happy Sunday! If you're in the UK you'll have had an extra glorious hour in bed this morning. My extra glorious hour didn't quite go as planned as at 6:30am a glass of water fell on my head. Lemme explain...
I'd put a glass of water on my window sill last night and my adorable but naughty cat has taken to going behind the curtain and trying to push it off. This morning he managed it, it landed on my head, bounced off, hit the radiator and smashed all over the place. Not the Sunday wake up call I wanted.
Anyway, I'm checking in today to let you know that I've decided to weekly vlog. I've always enjoyed taking photos and videoing moments of my life but I found that I didn't do anything with the outcome. I have piles of mini DVD's and, dare I say, VHS's of moments that I want to remember but have nothing to watch them on. I wanna save memories and moments that are created everyday that I know just blur in to one big moment called life. I wanna look back and view my life. So weekly vlogging is what I gonna do...

I'm excited, apprehensive and well, just wondering if I'll be able to do it but I'm looking forward to trying.
I'd love it if you subscribed and join me on the journey.
So my social life has officially gone out of the window! I bought Sims 4. I knew I'd become obsessed so I tried to resist buying it but I just had to have it.
I thought I'd do a YouTube series on my adventures. If you enjoy gaming check out my gaming YouTube channel.
Here's the first episode in which I create my first family which includes... well I'm not going to tell you! You'll have to watch the video to find out ;)

I've only gone and done a YouTube video haven't I! I've wanted to start a You Tube channel for ages now but I didn't have the recording equipment so when I got my Canon 700D
it was only a matter of time before I bit the bullet and went for it.
YouTube is a scary thing. Here on a blog it's quite easy to hide behind the written word but out there in the scary YouTube world you're there for all to see.
I'm not completely new to YouTube. Some of you may know that I already have a gaming YouTube channel (I'm a huge Minecraft fan!) but this being in front of the camera is a whole new experience for me.
This channel (Gemzicle Sprinkles), is going to be all my girlie stuff - hair, make-up, clothes, hauls and loads more. Go ahead and check it out.
Daisies on my uncut back garden lawn - perfect for daisy chain making!
Can you believe May is over already? It'll be the summer holidays before we can even blink! I've had a lovely month. It's been so good to finally get a bit of warm weather & get out in the garden or to the park with the kids. I was browsing through some blogs & found Every Day In Grace which is a lovely little blog & I found her Monthly Accomplishments posts which I thought was a great idea so I've decided to steal it (thanks Grace!)
My biggest achievement this month is starting this blog. I'm so pleased I've finally taken the time to do this. I've always loved taking photos & keeping scrap books/memory moment books & now I'm finally doing what I class as the modern equivalent. I'm still sketchy on my schedule & the layout & there's still loads of the techy side that I don't understand but I'm throwing myself head first into this new hobby & I'm lovin it.
Commiting to eating heathy. I decided to do a What I Ate Wednesday on my blog as I know it will keep me on track to eat more healthily. I'm a girl who loves all things carb - pasta, potato, bread mmmm I could live of the stuff & kinda had been doing. It's been a challenge & I've had a few hiccups along the way but I'm determined to change my eating habits rather than go on a diet.
Throwing an awesome Adoption Party for my new little niece. The day was a massive success all round & everyone had a wonderful time. The weather was sunny so we could be outside & the kids all had a great time.
Growing my Minecraft YouTube channel. I'm one of those girls who kinda loves everything. I love make up, hair products, beauty things. But, I also love video games, sports, action movies. I got into blogging through making my YouTube channel & I'm really enjoying creating content. I have 38 subscribers at the moment & that makes me happy.
What have you achieved this month? I'd love to hear about any achievements however big or small down in the comments.
